  1. You could buy gasket paper and make your own, thats what i do.
  2. I replaced my pump a few months ago, when the ignition is on there is a hum, but when engine is running my pump cannot be heard( this is a recon pump so i would imagine as time goes on it would become more noisey)
  3. Hi Andy Got my 432 with a pump problem! i think it has diesel in it, smells and feels like diesel. I agree with you even though they are a multifuel diesel is far more oily than petrol, i think if i were to use contam i think iwould put a little oil with it
  4. Hi I don't think that it should efect the gauge , mine has jumped up and down before but that was low on battery power. As with the pump i here they are a common problem and you may be lucky and just have a bit of corrosion in the impeller end. simon
  5. Fitted my new pump today , and after starter trouble, link box trouble and the pump my fv is also running on song. Now i can have some fun:-D
  6. HI I took my electric lift pump apart to find what looked liked fuel inside the motor part, i guess there should be no fluid inside the motor?
  7. Hi Jez Thanks for reply, its burnt about a quarter of the lead so i think if i clean it up it should be enough to make a good connection, thanks for over, do you keep many 432 spares?
  8. Thanks to every one that replied, got the pack out to find the bl--dy negative lead to the starter off, looks as if it had been loose for some time as it has burnt the inside of the lead away. Now i have the pack out i will service it and clean engine bay out . Thanks again for every ones advise. ( Pics to follow)
  9. i suppose i can service it as well when its out
  10. Thanks for reply, looks straight forward to take out, i will let you all no how i get on
  11. Hi Thanks for reply, i tried a charged set of batterys and a 24v nato jump pack. It made no diffrence.
