  1. Thanks so much for the information all I have to do is get them from Marco at Kempers and I think he wants part numbers but I will give him a try. Looks as though my Munga will be at Dorset Steam Fair this year again so if you do come, come and say Hello. Graham
  2. Thanks for that but I have a bit more information. The leak is from the drive shafts past the boot on either side. Are the boots the actual seals? If you have had to do it can you guide me please.
  3. Sorry forgot to mention that it is the oil seals that I need to change. Thanks
  4. Hi Guys Having a problem with leaking oil from both sides of the rear central drive box. Any idea what the part numbers are please and if possible a copy of the page from the manual to help me replace them. My manual has crap photo's. Thanks if you can help
  5. Count me in for one of them. Are they complete with both mufflers? Greengrassuk
  6. Hi Guys Well mine was tested at the local MOT garage and when I took it in I lowered the screen and said it was permanent 4 wheel drive. The tester did not put it on the rollers but used a brake meter on the floor when he took it and drove it up and down the yard. As the screen was lowered he said he did not need to check any of the window stuff like wipers etc. and because of the year he did not need to test the emissions. So all he did was check the state of the underneath and the lights and horn and then passed it.
  7. Hi Guys Just to let you know that I have booked my Munga into The Great Dorset Steam Fair this year so if you do come don't forget to come and have a chat to an old Munga man and his Dutch one. By the way I do need a new full hood if anybody knows where to get one. I know Kempers have them but they are £1200 odd.
  8. Hi Guys It's the idiot from Devon again who would like to let you know that I have just had to faced facts after cheating death twice and because I am an old man. I know I will never get round to doing my F91/6, so I have put it on ebay if anyone is interested. However, I am keeping my F91/4 and I missed taking it to all the shows this year including Dorset Steam fair this year so lets hope next year is better. 9. Thanks for the help guys and the VW clutch is the 64 to 75 Beetle one but it has to be the 180mm one from GSF and they had it in stock. When I followed the crap manual I had about removing the engine it said remove the starter motor. When I got to it some one had used a very long bolt on the starter and I could not get it off so I had to remove the front mounting bracket to get the engine with starter out. It turned out to be the pressure plate and not the clutch but luckily I did have one in my spares and I put the new clutch in anyway.
  10. Has anybody scanned the Operators Handbook with the Technical suppliment and the repair manual to files as I only have photocopies and the pictures are really crap. If any one has the original two books for sale please let me know as I would be happy to pay for the scans or the books. Greengrassuk Private
  11. Thanks to A Daddy for the bearing information. Just to let you know that the one I took off was made by BMW and I did get one from Bearing Services but it was £84.00. Now would you believe the clutch has gone and I am supposed to be at a show in Torquay on Saturday. Does ant one know what VW is the compatible one please. I know I can get one fron Kempers but I am sure that Andy Roberts said a VW one will fit but do not know the model or year. Thanks guys
  12. Hi Guys Took mine for an MOT and would you believe it did pass but the guy said tweak up the rear wheel bearing on the rear near side as it was loose. Could not tighten it so decided to take it apart but could not get it off the spline, so had to take the whole thing off from the suspension and the plate on the rear of the crownwheel housing. A bit of persuasion using a press but when it came out the bearing was stuffed. Any one know where I can get the wheel bearing from please. Kemper do not have one. I am going to try my local bearing place and will let you know if I do get one
  13. Hi Guys Just to let you know that I kept our end up and did get to show my Munga at the Great Dorset Steam Fair again this year. It was amongst the MB's, Champs and Landrovers but did stand out. Suprising that a fair number of MVT guys had not seen one before so they must be getting rare. Must start on the 6 soon.
  14. Hi Guys Just to let you know that I kept our end up by being at the Great Dorset Steam Fair a few weeks ago with my 91/4 Munga. When I applied to enter the section steward said " We have not had one of those for years, of course you can come and I will make room for you". Had loads of Dutch people come and talk and one who said he hated the bloody thing as he had to live with it in the winter for two weeks with no equipment or side screens when he was in the Dutch Army. Must have been a good boy as they have asked me back next year. The other news is that I am about to start on the F91/6 but I need front wings and side panels if any one knows where to get them. Graham F91/4, F91/6, Haflinger and Chevrolet CMP30
  15. Talk about having the Munga bug. I have just aquired an F91/6 to keep my F91/4 company. Thanks again to Andy and looking forward to the manuals. Graham _________________________________________________________ Munga F91/4 Munga 91/6 Haflinger and soon a 43 CMP C30 (I hope)
