  1. Hi Bro Well thats another season nearly done, most enjoyable. Thanks for all your help during the year, and I was mightily impressed with the quality you have achieved on your first military vehicle restoration with the Ferret, a real credit to you. I enjoyed painting the Unit ident on the turret in the sun, during Horndean, lol, ...better late than never! Hems
  2. Many thanks for the welcome guys! Perhaps bump into Forum Members at the MVT Shropshire show or Nescliffe Camp later in the year.
  3. Hi All I have been interested in all things “historic” from a very early age. I caught this from my father who was a Museum Curator and Technical Officer involved with restoration / conservation / recovery. I am a professional artist with many vehicles painted (including some in green / black, with a 3” brush .. lol). My brother is an aerospace engineer and fellow mil vehicle owner / restorer, and a member of this forum. Currently, my eclectic collection covers things as diverse as a 1980 Airportable Land Rover, to a 1944 Lee Enfield No4(T) sniper rifle (Live and in regular use alongside my other rifles), to a 1972 Norton Commando (obviously not Military). I have browsed your forum with much interest, and now hope to take a more active role in interacting with you good & knowledgeable people! Many thanks Hems303 (Steve) Some of my kit in everyday "action".
