    will try to post pic tomorrow of it. 12 inch long tube 1/4 dia one end fits into gun or extension tube other end has approx inch long smaller piece of tube hollow but with v small hole in it angled to a point, u push point into nipple where ball bearing depresses, pump grease gun ,grease travels out of point into nipple, it was the only thing that allows u to grease rear ferret u/js with engine installed. because end is smaller makes it easier to see if grease going in where access limited.

    success with rear u/js greasing 12 inch grease tube with needle type adapter end, couple of flex hoses you hold needle end into grease nipple a willing volunteer cheers ian ! pumps gun! most satisfying watching the grease extrude out !:cool2:

    unless a fox is metric unlike a ferret i would imagine if you own a fox buying a socket set and spanners would be a good move and like i mentioned machine mart sells a reasonable range of metric and a/f possibly whit and/or bsf as well , for not alot of dosh ( not compared to fuel at 125 p a :cool2:litre anyway!!!

    interesting my mk1/2 ferrets last reg was life guards went to them june 86 having had a workshop code change from 4120 to 4000 it is modded with a front hatch to accommodate a n/v scope.,

    yeh have got a extension for grease gun u have to get grease nipple at spot on right angle will try again sun access is thru plates on underside if no good will try a needle type fitting on nipple ( it will not defeat me!!)

    good question, ferret has oil bath air cleaner in fighting compartment i know some people run them with no oil in , same as open carbs mod on motorbikes how- ever in a dusty environment i for one would keep topped up with oil.

    has any one had any luck greasing the rear u/j,s thru the access plates that have brake pipes running across them proving to be a bit awkward !!! hints advice plse.

    adrian are now going to send me a email conforming i have cover at rallies / shows etc, HOWEVER the scenario of little lad tripping and hitting head on my ferret for example is still a public liability issue which as far as they are concerned is arranged at a club level fine if u belong to mvt and go to a mvt event. probably won,t use adrian flux next year!!!

    This year is a steep learning curve i know mvt have a public liability scheme for members cant see from there web site if imps do can u get public liability insurance outside of mv insurance policy as adrian flux are being less than helpful !!!

    i notice a lot of show entry forms now require the entrant to have a public liability cover one saw quoting 2,000.000 of cover i know my company does not issue this / thats what they say, adrian flux to me today, any one know about this.? i see bunker bash form asks for off road third party cover
