    go to a car boot sale or country fair normally there will be traders selling such items for not alot

    mike there is not a light switch position apart from off ,which will still allow brake lights to come on that u can use to stop batt drain , N, is not wired ,C will put the convoy light on best to disconect batts.

    cables come with cylinders but you can split them.

    i guess you needed to change cables as well as wheel cylinders ?

    yes a was quite shocked to see how much rust was inside the cylinder since over hauling has been perfect.

    i had a similar prob and it was master cylinder rusted internaly causing piston to not fully retract which in turn kept slight pressure in system causing brake lights to stay on , sometimes coming on a hour or so after parking up.cured by honing internal bore and fitting new seals.

    just to confirm a 1965 ferret is currently mot exempt classed as a motor tractor, mot exempt fact, see long running thread on this for more info.

    very nice workshops guys, mine is working under a ferret port trying not to transfer the gravel from the driveway to the interior of the ferret! oh for a double garage:cool2:

    i have seen a few ex corporate machines being serviced for their new owners and the term well maintained whilst in corporate hands does not spring to mind !! but i,m sure there is exeptions:-)

    after changing quite a few items turns out over heating prob was all down to valve on top of rad not closing which was stopping cooling sytem pressurising now temp never goes above 195 f even on longest hills . all good learning curve!!!

    they could also look at there prices over 3 pounds for a larger in a plastic cup is just greedy and before certain people start talking about overheads etc , in can be done , recent show called bells and bugles beer was 2.50 a pint, and lets face it your standing in a tent , not a pub.

    thats what i had heard rambo that every year mv owners were getting pushed further and further away from the main area i had no intention of going ,just interested to hear owners thoughts on this .
