  1. they look all right eh, as they mention ferret on there site have u spoken them about fitting advice

  4. also some b60 thermostats have threaded holes to help with extraction , and some dont the ones that dont can be a bugger to get out !!on my b60 thermostat would not come out and yes i did try everthing , ended up getting new housing new thermostst gaskets etc
  5. tyre fitters have great fun getting ferret run flat insert back in !, allmost as fun as getting bead broken when dismantling wheel assembly!
  6. if any one can get a thermostst for less than 80 quid buy it spares are drying up.
  7. i have found that vosa in my dealings with them have allways been helpfull and dvla maidstone were also good .
  8. i got letter from imps verifying that ferret was what i said it was up to local dvla office filled in forms showed insurance etc , 2 weeks later man from the ministry came round had a look 2 weeks later docs came thru including v5 ,tax disc and letter enabling you to get no plates made up
  9. my ferret when first registered in jan had a inspection at home , just to see it exists.!
  10. see what u mean about the hull no welding not looking quiet right.
  11. i am picking up the second one from the same fitters today must not start chuckling when they tell me what a swine it was to fit!!

  13. local tyre fitters in fact just dropped another flat tire to them today on the last one breaking the bead was a bugger , got them to fit new inner tubes as well .
  14. the first leak getting repaired ,tire fiiters just love ferret wheels!

  17. pleased u got it sussed always worth going for the basic stuff first be it bad earths , rad caps, or vacum release valves on top of rads!!:-)
  18. there is a product called, micro mesh, designed for cleaning aircraft perspex or lexan etc works pretty well.,google it and you will get all the links u need. having just read adrians post micro mesh has now been mentioned twice, must be good!!!
