  1. Very nice Luigi, I like the new bin for the Thompson SMG parts kit that you made and the straps for the vickers/bren drums.. I need to do that to mine, I have a couple of them done, but need to do the rest.
  2. Started to tear down some of the carrier to start the restoration.. http://s141.photobucket.com/user/lssah2025/slideshow/1943%20Bren%20Carrier%20Ford%20MK%20II?sort=6
  3. I am also considering selling the carrier if anyone is interested..
  4. Ron, I assume it was a field mod/previous owner, the manuals I see also has it located internally (commanders carrier for HMG), but like you said you lose tons of space, I will probably take it off completely, still deciding if I want to turn it into a HMG carrier.
  5. So the Dingo, HSC and Carrier need to visit across the pond, or stay there permanently?
  6. Think this would go good with your collection
  7. Yes Rick, all original armour, engine, transmission, gauges, bins and boxes,, might head across the pond
  8. Well here is the new carrier being added to the collection. Has tons of original parts and the rare vickers/piat holder. I am going to try and get some of these reproduced or get schematics if anyone is interested. http://s141.photobucket.com/user/lssah2025/slideshow/1943%20Bren%20Carrier%20Ford%20MK%20II?sort=6
  9. Very nice Luigi, now I can mark mine up. Nice jack you located too.
  10. Does anyone on the site have a M3A3? Looking for some info/measurements and detailed pics for a possible project for someone.
  11. Thanks for the replies, got it sorted..from Dave C and Tim B!!! that is why I love this site!!!!
  12. WE will work on that,,,maybe get 3-4 together!!!
  13. I like the SCC brown Luigi..are you going to do a two tone on it?
  14. Simon very nice, thanks for the great website? "Have you looked on the Armoured Acorn website - something like this perhaps http://media.wix.com/ugd/279ff1_d702...691ac5c325.pdf"
  15. So finally got it out (well my mech and a friend did) to an event to take it through some paces, need to rebuild or change the generator, not keeping the batteries charged, need to put on a different carb, and just tidy a few things up, but she purred all weekend.
  16. So here are a few pictures of the Humber at a local car show, still working out a few bugs, another picture of the field mod water/fuel can holder on the offside wall, a piture of the 2 ton jack which I found for the vehicle and it works great, had to change the tube in the runflat. Also last picture is of a new carb I will be switching too, the current carb is a Solex 35-40 which is not correct for the HSC or HAC, but the original Solex 35 RZINEO can't be located, well we found that the 35-40 does not have an accelator pump, it appears they have all been modified by Solex and only really run wide open, like for a generator, constant speed, so we have had no pick up and it is a dog going up hills, so we are switching to this Rochester 1bl carb and it has an accelator pump, all the fittings are on the correct side, and hopefully, she will now run full speed, and have enough power to do hills. She is going to Wings over Michigan this weekend for a show and professional photo op, so more detailed pics will be posted when I get them, also next week the work should start on the new carb.
  17. Luigi, if the internal was silver, then I would go with silver..
  18. Get that Humber out Les and take some pics!!!
