  1. Thanks for the replies! So what do we have, what do you want and where in the world are you? I'm in Cambridge and I have two cracked Michelins (apparently they go like that so I am happy to avoid them) and a good Uniroyal. I believe that Continental also make this size tyre so what I'm after in order of preference I guess is: 2 good Uniroyals 3 good Continentals 3 good Michelins What do you have? Cheers Mark Preston
  2. Anybody know where I can get some good replacement tyres for my Ben Hur trailer (10.5R20) I need three that match? Thanks Mark Preston
  3. Hi, I'm Mark Preston and I'm working on a Ben Hur trailer in Cambridge
  4. I have a copy of an MOD manual that states what should be done and when for various situations (Use, storage, short term lay up etc) which details service intervals etc. I bought it off ebay from someone called 'vintage manuals' or something like that. I could run off a copy if you like (although it may take me a couple of weeks as the manual isn't at my home). If you are interested let me know. Mark
  5. My MJ and the MK before both came as standard with a locking (of sorts) cap. The device was on the neck of the filler and prevented the cap being pressed inwards to turn. Not sure what persuasion it would need to overcome (I suspect not a lot) but you locked the sliding bar upwards with a padlock and it seemed to work OK. Doesn't help with the drain in the bottom of the tank or an axe through the side though. Mark Preston
  6. I have a box body manufactured by MCE ltd. that has fixing instructions for Bedford MK & RL (so it fits my newer MJ too). On the LHS of the box there are what looks like fixing points along the roof edge for canvas and three fixing points on the side at the top for possibly some sort of support poles. Anybody any more info as I'd be great to have a tent or awning on the side if it were original and authentic! Thanks Mark Preston
