  1. Evening All Had the chance to show my Soft top Diamond T 981 off in the sunshine last weekend to two new friends, David and Nigel who travelled over the Peak District and suprised them with a drive around a local industrial estate. whilst playing, David asked about the axle articulation on the "T". I hope the pictures show just how good it is Steve MaccDT
  2. Hi Cliff welcome and where do you hail from, North, East, South or West UK? you mentioned that the Diamond T was moved in 2003, was this the same Diamond T that was at the Beverley Museum of Army Transport when it closed in 2003?? Cheers Steve MaccDT
  3. Evening couldn't agreed with Degsy more, what a great show that grows year on year, Took the Diamond T 981 down again this year and for those of you that follow my trials with this vehicle, this time, we broke down going there insted of going home. the main issue was that the 100 mile return journey was done without overdrive so 19 MPH max all the way home (5 hours in total).thanks for everyone who waved as they raced home (i think they were waving?), it was dark when i got home. Normans hospitality at the show with free beer very well received, the saturday afternoon road run through Conwy and Llandudno was good fun, albeit narrow going through the castle arch's in Conwy always interesting. well done to Keith Broome and the motorcycle outriders, you know who you are The reinactors put on two good battles on Saturday and Sunday on the new battle site specially created. the Alvis tank display was superb a diverse cross section of exhibits, RAF, Long range desert patrol Please, please, if people have any pictures of the show please post them as i dont have any this year looking forward to next year MaccDT

  10. Wanted to let everyone know about the most excellent of shows that deserves to keep growing year on year. Held at the Conwy touring park in Conwy, North Wales. this years show was blessed with excellent weather and a large array of vehicles from ww2 up to the newest of UN vehicles. the Alvis fighting vehicles where superb in their display along with the Re-enactors on both days. Highlights included the Saturday road run around Conwy and Llandudno, (damn, those streets are narrow in a Dimond T) and the off road course overlooking the estuary. I will post a few pictures to try and show how good this was and if anyone else out there has any more please post (i think the japanese tourists in Conwy took the most of the road run) One final big thank you to Norman as its his show and to Keith and Ian for assisting. p.s. thanks for the spanners John R, yes i did get home eventually,200 mile round trip, and we broke down again twice on the way home Steve
