Spoke to the organizers earlier this year. They said the first date for entry to the site is the 19th, and if you mark out a spot you have to stay or they will remove the posts and ropes. Whether this happens or not is another thing but hopefully it will stop the marking out of big areas that don't get used until the last few days.

Spoke to them at Stoneleigh about entry dates.

The earliest people can get in for marking out is the 19th, but if you do go and mark out a spot you have to stay. They said it's to stop people marking out areas and then turning up for the last few days. The chap we spoke to said if any areas are roped off and left they will take the ropes down.

That's me stuck. I did it on purpose so I could use the A frame. A big thanks to the chap that towed me out. A great weekend with the convoys and the great meal on the Saturday night. I'd best get my trailer packed. Probably can't make this year though, so that gives you a bit of time to get it sorted. I'll keep checking lottery tickets for funding.

I got a ticket a couple of years back. Coming back from combined ops show there's a steep hill into a dip and a steep climb out. Speed camera at the top of the hill, no problem there, lay bye at the bottom where I know dibble sometimes sit but couldn't see them. Got a bit of speed up to drag the trailer up the hill, and got a ticket through the post. 36 in a 30.

I've never had one on mine, running 12 volt points/condenser. 10 years so far with no problem.

Pot belly stove works very well. Even a few small bits of wood throws out a lot of heat.

Also use tilly/coleman lamps, they warm a tent up really quick.

Have one of these too.

Plenty of choice, plus a nice warm down filled sleeping bag. Toasty:D

I had the same thing, bouncing speedo for 6 years. Put a new cable in and now runs nice and smooth. Don't know why I waited 6 years:nut:

Worth a try for a tenner or so.

This is MAT1

He did 2 shades.

MAT 1 and MIX1.

I preferred the MAT 1. You can get it from Universal Jeep supplies or Jeffery engineering

There should be a tag on the left front frame just behind the bumper, and a data plate on the glove box door.

To refill you need to get the glass bowl out. Use a knife or small scraper under the edge of the bowl and gently go round prizing it up. Be very gentle though, the glass can crack easily.

Once you get it moving it should come out quite easily. The next job is to unscrew the brass cap on the back of the bowl. These can be very stubborn. you could try tapping around it to free it up, or some heat. Not a naked flame though.

All being well it will come apart and you'll have a puddle on your bench . I should have said do the above over a bowl.

Refilling can be done with compass oil, although I never found any! Baby oil, a bit thick but it does work, or lamp oil.

Either fill the glass bowl and while holding upright put it back together and hope you don't get any air bubbles, or put everything in a large bowl of the oil and assemble in the oil. No bubbles. A small bubble won't matter either way you do it.
