Got the old girl home yestersday , 175 miles , £130 odd pounds of fuel , Penrith to Cupar left at 11 ish got home at 3 ish , one fuel stop , 50 ish mph , bit slow on the uphills , lots of waves and tooting from truck drivers and a couple of stares from the traffic cops around Carlisle. Now to get her under cover and start some tidying up .
Does anyone have operating , user , manuals instructions , idiot guides , for the goddes and the auxillary pump on pdf that i could have , too many valves and openings .

they are JCB 4xc 's if im not mistaken , different from the 3cx as they have same size wheels whereas 3xc have a smaller steering front wheel , presumably so they dont have to carry 2 different sized spare wheels.

clive due to the fact that all of the front hatches have been cut off , not by me its how i got it , i will be starting from scratch , the only problem would be the prisms on the front hatches , as the side ones that i have seen look like flat plate with a semi circle cut out for viewing , would the be an accurate representation ?

i do however , managed to get a hold of a pig canvas , fancy rebuilding the lockers on the sides and wings ,and wanting to put hatches back on the pig thought doing the mk1 side hatches rolling back the pig to older times , what do you think ?

How long is a piece of string , if you get in a bidding war and really want it and so does someone else , depends on condition , if it has racks with it , tyre condition etc etc etc .
I know it not a figure . around the 15-20k mark .

The main danger with military vehicles is simple , death .
When your significant other finds out how much you spent , continue to spend , or just must have .

Handbrake on ( working rear wheels ) out of gear (if 4x4), chock the rear wheels and let the front wheels do the rolling , and hopefully , it wont go anywhere, oh and stick a blank plate over the exhaust to stop the turbo spinning up in the wind

Moving airdrop supplies from the drop zone to bases, and many other roles. It would carry a pallet on the back, plus had a fork lift pallet trailer, plus a self loading lightweight pallet trailer. It could also tow an air portable fuel container.
It was also used by special forces, and could have a Gimpy mounted on it for fire support.

Why not , we all have to do something to break the tedium of the 9-5 , its quite unique in what we do as a group , and theres nothing better than overtaking on the motorway , in a pig with the looks on peoples faces , you know that inside the car they are saying "what the hell is that"

Had to pull a couple of motorhomes out of ruts at the local show yesterday , old chap had the oldest chains that i'd ever seen , rust dropping off them and then was arguing with me when i produced a 6 ton strop and shackles Cetified ever year ) to pull him out saying that he lifted 15 tons with them the day before the show , so drove off telling him that when he came to his sence's to give me a wave and i would come back over and pull him out , Left the show and he was still there.
Im not a H&S devoted individual but when im at the other end of a chain (which i wont do) i want to go home alive
