I remember going to the first Shottesbrook show with my Austin Champ. The start of my interest in Military vehicles.

If it's any help, I am going to Dallas Dig-out on April 8th and can meet up or Coleford vehicle show on Easter Monday to save postage.

These are 19 copies of 'Three on the Floor' magazine from the 1970s. It was published by John Carter and the articles are mainly about Vintage Military Vehicles, Ford cars, Fairground rides and show reports. John Carter is well known for starting Military Vehicle shows at Shottesbrooke in the early 1970s and he also published this magazine. The adverts in the magazines are very interesting, with Jeeps for sale at £450 in 1974. I have 19 magazines and the price is £20 for all, with postage at cost. Last time I needed a water pump repaired, I used 'Collectors Car Parts' at Heathrow. They did a double pulley water pump for my Ford WOA2.

Have you tried Carburettor Exchange yet? They have been helpful to me in the past with the Solex carbs on my Ford V8.

Ford never made any WOT2 bodies, all being supplied by sub-contractors. My WOT2 cab was made by BMB, not sure who made the rear body. Also the Ford WOT2 Wireless light warning truck body was made by Morris.

Alex I have talked to Sean at Bigtyres a couple of months ago, but he advised against selling them to me as there was a possibility of a blowout with the inner tube rubbing on the inside of the tubeless tyre, creating heat. I'll try him again, however. Many thanks. Robert

I am getting to the stage of needing some tyres for my Ford WOA2. I have been trying to find a supplier in the UK for a few years, but without any success. Does anyone out there know where I can get 4 new 900x13 tyres, at least 6 ply, that will accept an inner tube and be able to do 50/55mph? So far I have found Implement tyres and tyres that will not accept an inner tube. Both not suitable. I have tried Vintage tyres at Beaulieu, ToTec tyres in Newbury, Longstone tyres in Bawtry and Big Tyres in Nottingham. Any advice will be helpful. Robert Davey

My WOT2 is chassis number 493697 and I know it is 1943, if this is any help. 18F is the model number with the F meaning Foreign which in Ford speak means outside USA. Production was from 1940 to 1945. Try looking on the back of the fuse box, as mine had a date stamped on it. No back axle or body spares, but I do have an engine cover somewhere and a front grill. Also a front axle and 2 wheels.

The one shown above is the correct phone you want. There was an airborne model and the difference is the base unit as it plugs into a glider's intercom and can be removed easily. Also, a BC611 is a very short range set and is only used for platoon use, less than a mile. To turn one on, you pull out the telescopic aerial and press the rubber switch on the side to talk. They are on a fixed wavelength and this is written on the card at the side. To alter the wavelength, you replace 2 crystals and a coil inside the set. The French used these after the war, and did produce some for their Army.

Banana Radios are a Post-War American radio, which is why you are getting Nam era dates. The WW2 radio was the SCR532 (also known as BC611), which was a rectangular shape.

Must be in storage. They still have it, as far as I know. Only the Jeep and Humber car that were privately owned and have gone.

Vehicles at the new REME Museum are BARV, Bedford QL Machinery, BSA M20, Churchill ARV, Commer Q4, CRRAVV, CVRT Samson, FV434, Halftrack repair, Matchless G3L, Morris Commercial Breakdown, Scammell, Scout Helicopter, ST4 Aktiv, Western Star. Some were on display at Arborfield, while others are from the store at Bordon.

Just a warning. The same carburettor fits a Ford V8 as well as a Bedford, but all the jet sizes are different. Make sure you have the correct one for your Bedford with the right jets.

I have been using Mill Board in my vehicle, supplied by Woolies, on the doors and interior trim. Over time this warps and stops being flat. Has anyone also used this material and how do I stop it warping? Is there another supplier of Mill Board that won't warp so easily? Many thanks.

NOW SOLD I am selling my Car Trailer I used for transporting my Ford WOA2 around. It has a 16 foot bed and is a tilt model. Selling as it only gets used very occasionally and thought I would give you a chance to own it. It is very strong and will transport an MV easily, it also tows behind my Discovery very well.
