RIP war & peace show. The organisers shot themselves in the foot as far as I'm concerned. I don't believe they took that much of a financial risk, it was the stall holders catering traders and exhibitors that underwrote the show with advanced payments. The huge price rises each year made this show an expensive pay and display car park ! or park and ride 🤭 the statements issued by the organisers were as believable as Dominic Cummings eye test. Hence why they lost trust and support from the exhibitors. Note all the other military shows in uk have survived COVID Brexit cost living crisis so why not W&P it's an end of an era but a start to a new future. Support your smaller shows Ipswich Suffolk ,chapel victory etc move on

Hello here at Suffolk military show- great mixture of reactors vehicles stalls etc. Nice atmosphere very similar to the gun powder mills event Enfield. At the end of day the organizers can do what they want ! I think people will just have to accept this ! Just make sure you get your refund. Support smaller shows .move on. Let this company/organiser get on with it, let them find out the hard way! If cost £160 for for 4 days at a music festival with headline acts . your Better of going to a music festival and enjoying yourself . support smaller military shows where you are made very welcome.

Hello I agree with ferretfixer on this one. As I have said before this hobby is ment to be fun and enjoyable . I'm going to the Suffolk military show tomorrow should be good ! It's near the coast as well. At the end of the day no one forces you to go. So vote with your feet , don't support this organisation ! If you don't get a refund ( no deferred ticket thanks )then it would be ashame if a couple of t34 broke down right at the entrance of w&p 2023 ?

Hello is sad to hear people's experiences .my be could get a refund from credit card if payed that way section 75 charge back. It's sad when people get treated badly. This forum and hobby is ment to be fun and a happy occasion. I find the small shows best these days. I recommend the sheringham 40s weekend which is well supported by local business and Joe public also next to seaside which is a bonus !

Why would anyone support this show now .They refuse to give a refund ! All good will and trust is sadly lost. Who in their right mind is going to hand over money in advance for entry to a show that could get cancelled again for any reason ? Think how many other people have lost out -stall holders catering reenactors military vehicle owners etc presumably paying in advance. Contact trading standards might be helpful ! The organizers need you more than you need them. I will no longer support this show ever. Its a sad day really,because I have meet wonderful People from around the world there. One minute I was talking to a Vietnam helicopter veteran next a German fellow then a Dutchman😀 The past is the past ,time to move on new shows Suffolk military show ,victory ,40s week end sheringham old Buckingham etc

Hello the w&p show is over its finished this is what happens when money is more important than the show and the people who give up their time and support and get nothing in return. I don't think it's right not to get refunded when the show was cancelled regardless of terms and conditions. I strongly recommend people visit the citizens advice bureau for legal advice and take this shower to small claims court. Don't let them get away with this injustice.
