    I am in Newcastle upon Tyne, I’m fairly sure that’s a civilian type manifold similar to the one on mine at the moment, how much would you be looking for it by the way?

    Hello people! I am absolutely desperate for the correct inlet/exhaust manifold for my Bedford mwd anyone with info on where I can get one would be great, the pic is what it is currently running on, but doesn’t run well at all as the exhaust manifold is bent which causes it to blow and the carb leaks petrol like a Sieve.

    Can anyone help me please, I am looking for Bedford oy door quarter light window seals and the tracking stuff the window slides up and down in? Any help would be fantastic! Thanks!

    Made a start on the repaint of the cab. Started with the bonnet and side panels. Sign written the original z number to the bonnet, pretty chuffed how it looks. Also decided to do it in Micky mouse camp 😊

    Thanks for the info! I plan on fitting the correct inlet and exhaust manifold over time and if I ever find one. Also I’ll be changing the oil filter to a military spec. I have bought the correct scolex carb still in its wax paper but can’t be fitted unless I make some sort of adaptor. Anyone selling the correct bits I would be very interested 😁

    Hello would any one be able to help, would this Bedford manifold be any use to fit on my mwd? It says it’s from a ql. But is there that much difference? Thanks

    Hello all, just a bit of advice in to the correct set of point and condenser for this DZ6A 40033A distributor and if any one can tell me where to get them from? Or perhaps another set that fit? The condenser fitted at the moment seems to foul the rotor arm, Any help appreciated!

    Hello all! Bit of advice needed please, i have a bedford here and have realised the air intake is off an old land rover and am now unsure if the carb is the correct one? If not can i get one? Also can anyone point me in the direction of the correct air filter parts? Any help appreciated 🙂

    Hello, having recently purchased a 1941 mwd bedford i have been playing about and have decided to service the Ignition system and have a few questions. What spark plugs do these use as the manual says ac K9V ( is there a modern equivalent?) And the second question is there a electronic ignition kit out there to suit the distributor? Any help would be great thanks again guys 👍🏻🙂

    Thanks for the feed back, i think its best of both worlds really small enough to keep on the drive and the looks of a bigger oy 🙂 got a few jobs to tinker with first then ill get it out on the road

    Hmm ok! Well i dont plan on changing it back to how it was built anytime soon. Ill have to look in to it more when i get it deliverd tomorrow. All very interesting though. Would it have been a possibility that the army have changed the cab to this type? I feel it would be less drafty haha

    Hello, thanks for that, still a little puzzled why the top of the card says closed cab in brackets. The bedford i have bought has had the cab changed at some stage in its life to cab like the oy type

    Ahh really! I will have a look for the other plates as i dont get the vehicle until tuesday. Thank you very much though for the info so far! 👍🏻

    Hello, i have recently purchased a 1942 bedford mwd and would like to try find out some history of the vehicle. The vehicles registration is 25 ra 37 i have no idea if this helps. Even understanding the number plate would help! Thanks. neil
