  1. Hi Ruxy

Many thanks for your replay to my post a few months ago. I am hoping that you will be able to confirm that there is a single blue wire from the vehicle battery + to the shunt box. Many thanks in advance

      Hi

Unfortunately car wiring was/is  by nationality,  France,Germany, Japan etc.

Fortunately in the case of Series GS & FFR  - it is British Standard    BS-AU7  ,  Lucas (in this case a Lucas subsidiary  Rists Cables did the wiring / harness(s).  the system was 7 colours in plain colour (this gets you quickly into an area)  the colour code for BLUE on diagrams being  U.   Blue was only used  -  Lighting switch (HEADLAMPS)  to  dipper switch  -  dead easy.

However there was no wire at all where you state , seems a PO has got a bit of industrial blue and was rogue feeding.

Blue with a fine red trace would also e lighting, around same area. SAME with Blue/white ,  as would Blue/pink or Slate grey.

Blue/light green =  screenwash motor area to switch.

Blue/yellow -  that would be a long range (driving/spot) lamp to switch.

      That's about it for BLUE.

  2. Hi all. I have a series 3 land rover FFR and have noticed one of the fuel caps doesn't have the O rings. They are square section and I am having difficulty finding replacements. Anyone know where to get them? Thanks in advance. Darren
  3. I was thinking of putting a dual USB port into the box with the knurled knobs. It would easily fit inside
  4. Hi all I have a 24V FFR, with the generator and shunt box on the bulkhead and an additional box in the rear tub with red and black screw down connectors. I want to wire up some USB charging sockets. My question is, can I connect up directly (via a fuse) to the rear tub box. Thanks in advance.
