  1. Is it a clip to keep the lid on a paint tin?
  2. Expensive but it works… I have done this to mine. https://www.mudstuff.co.uk/products/garrison-door-top-seal-kit?fbclid=IwAR03vyolh3mgA4QBpDCYqqtOJYhmYM5E1SK0sOOD-THBsPQfpbmjIh0UDPo_aem_ASqyQBL-0WSy22izDpZfLeG1ktPGCdtQ85I8TQgZALA4WiBO9fSNE1jl4LQVMk3tMf8

I can’t see any difference? Still more adverts than posts, plus full screen popups.
  4. It usually takes some time to matt down.
  5. I have always found them to be very helpful. You need to get hold of the vehicle team. Try this number 0300 322 7071.
  6. BS381C shade 298 ‘Olive Drab’
  7. Larry, You posted with the correct 6.50 size earlier and have now posted again with the incorrect sizes. What you need are 6.50x16 Goodyear Xtra Grip. Sometimes Withams have them on their online auctions but they will be NOS and quite old by now. Chris
  8. I took this in January 2015…
  9. Maybe here? https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/cy/request/735693/response/1770529/attach/4/0200 A 307 013 PT3 3 6 20210315 D N AAERM PART3.pdf?cookie_passthrough=1
  10. It’s nonsense. The video is full of inaccuracies. There were never 3000 Scorpions built for the British Army, even if you include Abbots which this video also seems to think is a Scorpion. Where are they going to get them from? Spartans and Sultans have been sold off in large numbers over the last few years so there were plenty about. The Ukrainians only wanted diesels. There were around 300 Scorpions built for the British Army. Of these about 30 were converted to diesel which were used at BATUS and sold off about 10 years ago, now dispersed around the world. 136 Scorpions became Sabres, the rest were sold off/scrapped in the early 90s. Its possible they could be from another country eg Jordan, but they won’t be buying a fleet of British Scorpions.
  11. It’s a shame that Sultan hasn’t found a long term owner. I think it’s been owned by at least 5 people since it went through Withams in 2005.
  12. Yes, definitely not big enough for a glazed aperture
  13. It’s from a Land Rover Wolf, here’s mine in the snow.
  14. U.K. CVRTs were fitted with a Cummins 6BTA during the life extension programme. The Stormer has the Perkins engine. Spartans with the diesel engine are now thin on the ground as the Ukrainians have hoovered up any which dealers had in stock and most of the privately owned ones. Strikers are also thin on the ground as the only ones available are the petrol ones. The diesel strikers were stripped for spares and used as hard targets.
  15. That vehicle has been through the paint shop at Withams, the silver louvres at the back is how they painted them and not how they left service.

  20. Unfortunately yes. I phoned them and explained my situation, they emailed me a form to fill in. I suggest you do the same.
  21. I doubt you’ll get a copy of the 654, they were hand written. Your best bet to get it registered will be to have it verified by a club like the MVT. You’ll also need a NOVA. I’ve had to get one recently for a vehicle which was imported many years ago and HMRC were very helpful.
  22. I made all the cables for my Ferret intercom using the cable from RS. Soldering the plugs on was a fun job…
