  1. Had to check, but mine has the hole too, you will find when you ride longer distances, the oil will seep out the valve lifter cable hole at the back, this was so bad, that I soldered the supply pipe half shut, seems to be OK now. Also advisable is to replace the paper gasket for the valve cover, with one made from graphite material, as the paper burns away after a while. Cheers, Lex
  2. Hello John, Parts for these are getting more and more difficult, I'm going on vacation tomorrow, but I can try to find some stuff, when back again. Cheers, Lex

Nice Ron, but weren't the MT110's always painted in service colour? Cheers, Lex
  4. Gary, heard that you are in contact with Tony, and that it is a quite early bike, not sure how early, but nice to know! good luck with the purchase, better safe than sorry. Cheers, Lex
  5. Here some more, I didn't like the front of the seat cushion, so I rounded it off, looks much better now. Lex
  6. Here's some, originally there were coil springs in the seat base, but mine were not original, so went with foam. Lex
  7. In Europe and the UK not readily available, take the seat with lots of pictures to a canvas guy, and I'm sure they will be able to make something nice. Will post pic's of my upholstered seat in the next post. Lex
  8. Ok, I'll have a good look at the pictures later, but these have been made, with various modifications since the war, well into the 60's, and then the overhead valve models came out. Cheers, Lex
  9. Numbers are faked all the time, show us some pictures of the whole bike please. Cheers, Lex
  10. Will check and send you a message, I lost a lot of contact stuff, hope i still have it, Lex
  11. Hi Gary, Don't want to ruin your party, but your M72 will be most likely from the 60's, as only a handful real M72's exist in the whole world. The thing that it hasn't been registered yet, and it will be difficult! already confirms this, best to contact Tony Jones in Manchester, he knows all about them. But the sidecar on the other side should not be problem, as I know several people with that. Cheers, Lex

Nice! is it K.G. No. 3? probably from a V twin 500, heard there are parts out there in Egypt. Did you actually check the petrol tank with petrol in it? water and air molecules are bigger, so might stop really small holes, from blowing bubbles, but petrol creeps through every crevice. Cheers, Lex
  21. This bike is in Holland now, and we did about 80 miles on it the last couple of days! Cheers, Lex
  22. Yes, Ron, that is the one, he has a nice WD Matchless website too! Cheers, Lex
  23. Thought I said that already on FB, but contact Simon Warner, he had some real nice ones made. Cheers, Lex
  24. Have more of these numbers in the Key Cards, will check tomorrow, they must have been replacement frames. Cheers, Lex
