Thanks, that’s interesting. I am sure my Hillman was FKM 481, registered on the 2nd of December 1938. The one above looks very much like it, the blue under the wiper motor, the green hose taking the water from the roof guttering. iIt was my first civvi car. I often wonder where it had got to. It could be a coincidence, and I am now wondering if I misremembered the number plate. will have to find a photo! cheers ben
