I once filled up a M4A1E8 , and there went 680 litres of petrol in.
By experience I know that with the twin Diesels you can drive the longest distance , then the Radial , and then the Multibank with the same amount of fuel.
The French Army did convert several M4A4`s into radials , there were US suplied conversion kits for them after WW2 , Prop shafts stayed the same , clutch mehanism raised a bit , and a M4 top rear deck , and rear aircleaners , and an adapted shroud for cooling. But the reason is unknown to me , some say it was because there were no Multibank spares , wich seems unlikely to me .
