  1. I wanted to say thanks again for the help and information received from all. I had another question about these vehicles. I was wondering what kind of paint was used? It seems very robust while stripping and removing it.
  2. Thank you Wally, I sent them a e-mail asking for the vehicle history. I will wait and see what it has in store for me.
  3. Sorry, thought I put my name in. The names Don Potter. I'm located in Alaska, but get to do a bit of traveling in the lower 48 states. I didn't know about a collection in North America, I would like to visit it at some point and talk to their mechanic. Where at is the collection, do you have any contact info for them? I'm not sure what the military registration number would entail. I've got the original license plates 31GX87 and the Factory Serial #. Ive been wondering if it had been to the Falklands campaign/ war.
  4. I wanted to say thank you all for the information! It's greatly appreciated. I didn't think I would ever get the past info on the rig when I purchased it. Uncovering the identifiers was a stroke of luck.
  5. Good afternoon all, I'm not sure I'm posting in the correct section. Anyway, here's my question. I picked up a Bv202 Nf1 here in the US. It was a former British owned vehicle. I am currently restoring it. Sanding the top coat of paint off, I came across the symbols on the tailgate and am looking to identify them. One symbol a wedge shape with a orange dagger in it. Also blue and orange squares With a white stripe between them. Also it was hard to identify, but I'm thinking it was the letters SAQ across the back. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you Don
