Was wondering if anyone can help? I’m after making the rear middle seat in my qlt. Does anyone have any? Or may be the drawings? Thanks 

The only place I know is jones springs in Birmingham but you would need to courier it to them.

Evening all I have a request that someone my be able to help me with. I’m looking at getting a new v5 for my ql. I know the vehicle has been registered before, but the number plate isn’t  legible . Would anyone have a picture of the vehicle before I purchased it that shows the number plate?

Is any one know of any German weapons for sale would like a mg42.

I was able to put the engine back in over the weekend. Just sorting the gearbox out after my miss hap. Hopefully have it running soon.

Had the wheels made by someone else then spent about 3 days working it out and making it.

Just made a spare wheel carrier for the qlt.

Just bought a nos dynamo and it amazes me how well they where packaged.

Had a few issue’s with the engine turning over by hand, but it seem’s sorted now. Had to measure and check everything a few times and it appears to me that i had not fitted one of the conrod’s in line with the crankshaft correctly. Works fine now.

Also had an issue with the clutch/fly wheel and clutch disc. I thought it wasn’t fitted correctly,  But i have changed all 3 parts for other new ones and it’s the same. So i’m going to do a trial fit on the chassis with the pedal connected to see if it all works as it should. Fingers crossed.

I’ve started the engine rebuild. It’s taking a lot longer. But i’m taking my time as it my first rebuild.

whats the best way to flush it out?

can i use any sealant?

Morning i want to replace some core plugs on the engine but i have never done it before.

i’ve been told to place some grease on a drill bit and drill a hole in the centre then pull out. Then tap the new one in.

is this the best way?

do i need any sealant when put the new one in?

what should i tap the new one in with?

any advice or picture would be great

I have an old cupola cover that i am going to have us to have a new one made.

what colour are you looking for?

the rear sheet is just a rectangle sheet that should be easy to reproduce? 

I’m looking for bits for a mw aeroscreen project i will be starting next year.

as I'm trying to work out when my Bedford qlt may have been produced?

the book bedford to berlin and beyond

dates it around  42  but i’ve been told it could be a 43 based on the contract ledger.

Just got the head and block back ready for the rebuild. Hopefully that goes ok as it will be the first ever rebuild
