APRIL 5TH TO THE 7TH Weeton Camp NEAR BLACKPOOL Steve Flitcroft has asked that we publicise this event for all to see, but make sure you book in. "SC & NL are pleased to offer a Weekend at Weeton Army Camp 5-7th April. This will be part of a Families Day for the Camp whilst the Regiment is in Afghanistan. This is not open to the General Public to attend, but for Families and Friends of the Camp. The invite is for all MVT Members and associated Vehicle Clubs and Re Enactors. The camp is offering camping, hard standings, with access to toilets and showers. Potential for some to use the live firing range, simulated target range, assault course and assault house. The training area can be used by re enactors. Subject to weather, historic helicopters will be present. There is a bar available on Friday and a 40's themed night with DJ on the Saturday. There are also indoor areas for those willing to do static displays. The aim is for relaxed fun for MVT Members and Families of our Service Personnel whose loved ones are serving in difficult times.
