Good evening,
Well you certainly missed a lot of vehicles then, there was a error with the programme but we had over 500 vehicles booked in.
367 early pre-booked then just short of 200 later bookers.
Hope this help, Thanks.

Greeting from Kidderminster !
Firstly, a big congratulations to Emma, Amy and the team for taking-on and further developing the show. Am sure Bob and Shirley James would have been really pleased with the way in which they are carrying the event forward. We certainly are.
Despite the wet weather during the preceding days, the weekend – for the most part turned out well – not least because of the weather, but also the quality and extent of displays, activities and, public attendance (car park seemed quite full on both days !).
As usual, we formed part of the VMARS display, and operated a working NATO Cold-War communications set-up during the early mornings – `relaxing` over the rest of the days. Again displaying the Unimog telex station and VW181 (kubel) radio-car, the theme this time was to set-up in a mobile mode – ready to scarper in the event that the Ruskies spotted our location
The Saturday morning VMARS radio-net was busy and, Cadet Civilian Instructor - Pete Coates (see his rather well-equipped Landy below) managed around 70 contacts during an international competition which went-on all weekend.
Also noted is the gradually increase in the number of ex-Bundeswehr NATO vehicles (apart from my own !) – which reflect at least in part what was once the largest European contributor to NATO, with around 500,000 Army personnel. Was good to see several taking part in the arena this year.
Finally, I focussed my photography on the working radio-equipped vehicles this time, and, look forward to seing the images of other vehicles and displays.
Cannot wait for next year !
Cheers

Wartime in Vale 2019 show update
in Future events and meetings
Posted
Attention Vehicle Owners & Re-enactors only.
After very careful consideration there will be a few changes to 2019 show camping.
If you bring a Military Vehicle and DO NOT Military Green camp with your vehicle in the vehicle display areas and choose to Plastic camp in the General Public Camping or bring a caravan there will be a £10 pitch fee to camp for the weekend.
Same rule for Re-enactors & Living History, if you plastic camp or bring a caravan and not camp with your display there will be a pitch fee of £10 also.
VEHICLE OWNERS (not including crewed vehicles) Get 2 x complimentary weekend show tickets. If you have more in your party you will be able to buy additional tickets on arrival at a discounted price. T's & C's apply , you must arrive together in the pre-registered vehicle.... Or normal gate charges will apply. We hope that you understand it has been a very difficult decision, as we appricate your continued support for the show, but running costs have increased year on year and we have had no other choice.
Regards Amy, Emma
