m55/m6 junction this morn , 3 low loaders with ? farm written on the doors ,carrying 3 new armoured cars , all were 6 wheelers ,really nice motors

M1 J23 north 1600hr today low loader carrying a bright yellow Scammell Pioneer recovery in good order & an old dump truck, possibly ex military but was distracted by the Pioneer.

Saw them earlier in the day, probably A34n. The tipper looked to be 'Hoveringham' orange, possibly another Scammell.

Spotted this again in Derby today, minus low loader this time. MAN 6x4 unit.

This again with trailer at the same dealer, also a very new looking mod low loader trailer by itself, will try get the reg & look for its tractor unit next week.

why are front loaders sometimes parked with the bucket used as a jack to lift up front end of vehicle? Usually with Hydraulic machines they tell you to release pressure in Hydraulic systems when not in use.

Only ever done it myself when using the shovel to scrape ice off a yard, like you say - never parked one like this before for the reason you mention

I think Richard's nailed the answer! I'll try a photograph it when it's been parked more 'adventourusly' as it has been in the past, this photo is quite tame by comparison
