This is the cunning way in which the British abroad made sure they always won rugger matches against the locals, lead shot in the ball and aim for the goolies!

Not in this instance, but that certainly sounds a cunning plan.

Survival information when in far off lands? What part of a fruit or veggie that can be eat and so on........

I think I was being a bit too strict. Although it's not a far off lands survival thing, it is a fruit or veggie issue.

Must be from a manual for cooks on producing food. Daily puddings................just wondering if you mean porridge or even bread? Are we looking a a grain of wheat or oats, explaining how it is made up?

Could be wrong though

Yes very good Richard I knew I could rely on you.

"Daily puddings" As in "Give us our daily bread" & "puddings" as in semolina pudding that is derived from the gritty stuff in the middle.

Although it could be a cook book, it is from a RASC Supplies Manual 1922.
