Another MW left behind in France in 1940 (John, note it has a name on the bumper!):

And a second one which was left behind in France, captured intact, and taken into service by the Wehrmacht:

Pics are from eBay auctions.

Hya,

Are there any photo's of these MWV's from the rear..??

Wondering if these MWV's had a towing hook and if so how did it look...

Was the chassis longer or didnt the body need any support for the last few inches..??

Cheers,

Louis

This is the elusive MWV GS van, isn't it?

Note the fixed body sides and permanently fitted canvas. Also note the body is slightly longer at the rear.

Hi John,

You are welcome.

The bonnet blanket is a nice item to have....:D

On the canvas it says in Dutch...."Welcome Eindhoven"....

Whats written under the canvas is hardly not to read for me.....when i zoom in it al fade away...

Cheers,

Louis

Hi all,

Doesn't the carrier just compliment the 15cwt perfectly!?

Some pictures of the elusive MWT, the rear lights are nice and clear in the picture, anyone got one?

I see this MWT is fitted with a proper tow hook on a spring, I guess this proves a better fitting than the standard device on the MW when having to tow a gun, eh?
