Here goes.

 

It appears to be an advertising banner for Courtaulds Aerospace fixed to a couple of ladders, if I'm not mistaken :-D

 

 

Yes, correct on both counts. But there is a bit more to it than that.

As already said Courtaulds Areospace.......................advertising their paint perhaps, at a Defence Sales exhibition or Farnborough airshow?

 

 

Yes, but not paint. Yes, it was the last BAEE held at Farnborough, 8 years ago something like that.

Is the banner attached to some sort of radar, or is this at a Dutch defence show, and a traditional display on a windmill

Mrs HF voiced concern that the banner was fixed to dyke breaching equiptment :shake:

Joking aside is this a piece of military hardware, it looks like it hinges in the middle for transportation? or a mini version of the rigging thing the sailors cavort on at Royal shows etc ?
