As already said Courtaulds Areospace.......................advertising their paint perhaps, at a Defence Sales exhibition or Farnborough airshow?

Here goes.

It appears to be an advertising banner for Courtaulds Aerospace fixed to a couple of ladders, if I'm not mistaken :-D

Yes, correct on both counts. But there is a bit more to it than that.

My bet is the advertising on the judges stand on the RA point to point.

Interesting one Tony, could well be, but isn't.

Yes, but not paint. Yes, it was the last BAEE held at Farnborough, 8 years ago something like that.

Is the banner attached to some sort of radar, or is this at a Dutch defence show, and a traditional display on a windmill

Mrs HF voiced concern that the banner was fixed to dyke breaching equiptment :shake:

Joking aside is this a piece of military hardware, it looks like it hinges in the middle for transportation? or a mini version of the rigging thing the sailors cavort on at Royal shows etc ?

Yes very good.

How would it be deployed? Is there anything/anybody that tows it, carries it, pushes it, lifts it?

From the back of a 4 tonner? It looks quite bulky, unless it is mounted on a purpose built trailer chassis.

Another X on the bike frame then. shape of roof under frame is unmistakable, even if you are more used to seeing Landys from underneath. :-D
