Bicester railway wagon

Any one seen that railway wagon on the Ramco auction 13 ton only making £130 has a military look about it would look good on a couple of rails in my back garden

Unfortunately didn't see it at the time but would be interested to see a photo of it if anyone has one as there used to be some interesting military wagons at various times.

Didn't realise that Ramco still sold MoD railway stuff; does it come up very often?

Surprised at that amount, as the average scrap steel price that we get on the NYMR is around £150 / tonne.

Some scrap man looks to have had a bargain.

I remember seeing WW1 dated WD Goods Wagons at Hursts Yard near Andover probably 20 years ago.

Probably came out of one of the Ammo Depots beig closed at the time.
