I started looking into sourcing some paint, i`ve got some NOS parts with nice fresh paint, ill just get them scanned ill have the exacted shade easy i thought, only to discover that the paint tin is full of worms and the lids off.
So its seems we`ve got acrylic or enamel ? but then cellulose, water, based or synthetic ? hardener no hardener ? then primers etch zinc epoxy ?
I`ve noticed that most of these suppliers of military paint don`t actually tell you what there paint is.
I should probably tell you i want to go for a full matt/lusterless finish.
If you could share with me your preferred method it would be most appreciated.
