D-Day commemoration in Llandudno

Blind Veterans UK are hosting a D-Day 75th commemeration at their Llandudno site on 5th and 6th June and  invite WW2 and Post War Allied and Axis vehicles, displays and reenactors to attend, (no SS).  Camping (military tents only), hard standing for caravans and motor homes  available from 4th June. Some expenses will be available as will complementary food and drink all day. WW2  includimg some D-Day veterans will be present on both days and schoolchildren will  be guests on 5th June. On 6th June we will be conveying the veterans to the War Memorial on the promenade for a short ceremony where we will be meeting the public, following this we will convoy to Conwy  to visit the area where parts of the Mulberry Harbours were built. How nice to see our Post War vehicles considered in the same category as those of the SS!
