Mystery Object No. 203

Recommended Posts

As we don't seem be allowed to have a Dad's Army this Saturday, here is some alternative entertainment.

Any ideas?

Wally it  was  something you said in a message to me that reminded me it was time for another MO. Good to see you are waiting in the wings.

Not to do with rocket power. The picture is part of the thing itself, its not a scale model or anything like that.

Not a thermos flask Wally nor a catering item as such.

Nope Richard not that, no water involvement.

a heat exchanger

Wally part of it is in a sense a heat exchanger, the heat from the thing is being dissipated to the air. This heat is an unwanted by-product of the operation the main thing, creating heat in itself is not the purpose, most of this bit you can see is trying to get rid of the heat.

May have said the wrong name in last post, think it is more like Silicone diode rectifier

I think you mean silicon, you may have had implants on your mind. But not those either.
