FV430 periscopes

Recommended Posts

Anyone got a good source for FV430 series drivers periscope and commanders periscopes? (that don't cost a mint!)

To go in an Abbot.

Drivers periscopes for a 433 are like Hens Teeth, if you have one still fitted my advice is leave it in. As for the Commanders ones try ebay, GreenMachineSurplus.

hi BDRM ,

In that case you will have to keep your eyes open for one , our Abbot has the same problem the Drivers scope has fuzes to the metal so till we can get a new one it stops in.

Use to drive one in the Royal Artillery , the scopes remained in the gun store and was only fitted for exercise

Yep, thats the one! FV462431 is the part code for the upper section.

My lower half is servicable, the upper half is gone! Just a big block of glass which is not impossible to get out....

Wher about's are you and how much for it?

Ours is the same as yours it's wielded together that why it's still in and besides I don't think the Boss will part with anything that is on the gun at the moment " Blood out of a stone" comes to mind.  So you will have to keep your eyes open for your Driver Periscopes  sorry about that BDRM Dvr .
