bayrumblues
Hello fine folks, I posted this in the classifieds, but as this is more applicable to the Clothing/ Uniforms section, I figured I would post it here as well.I have a bit of an archive/ collection on the go and am seeking any rare, unique, unusual, cool military garments that might be out there. RCAF, RCN, RAF, Royal Navy, USN, USAAF, USAF, etc. etc. My areas of interest are generally within 1930's to 1970'sI've seen some great photos, and gotten some fantastic information from this forum for a while now, but have just been a lurker! Figured I would make a post and see if anything comes of it.Smocks, windproofs, parkas, anoraks, jackets, trousers, bags etc are all of interest (I've attached some photos of the type of garmentsI am after)Willing to pay good money, trade, or just chat and see photos of peoples fine collections. Thanks so much and feel free to contact me with anything. Edited May 26, 2018 by bayrumblues
Scotch Harry
A lot of what you have posted up are mega rare, very high end items and sure unfortunately you will struggle to find anyone that may have any of the items that are willing to let them go. I have which may possibly be of interest,a 1970s Canadian fur rimmed cold weather parka, used by some members of the Royal Marines and then also by some Argentine soldiers after being liberated from Royal Marines stocks. Oh I know! I've spent years and years looking for some of them. I'd love to see photos of your Parka, if you get a chance to message me some pics. Thanks for responding.
