Tank rides insurance

Recommended Posts

Im looking into giving tank rides with my sabra and abbott, ive read all the threads on the subject about liability insurance but no companys have been mentioned about this.

Ive rung many up but none are intrested or can point me in the right direction, i know it will be expensive but need some insurance company details that may do this, any help will be gratefully recieved.

By "giving" do you mean free or really mean charging for rides?

If you are giving free rides and you are a member of the MVT you should be covered by your PLI but check with the safety officer, Tim Hawkes to confirm cover. If charging you could try asking other people who run tank driving days about their insurance cover.

When I ran a Tank Driving company  Towergate were the only ones offering insurance. It was cover for driving various vehicles and not to give rides as you are planning. It was VERY expensive and helped towards the ultimate failure. It should be cheaper for you.

Also try NFU, lots of farms diversifying etc.

Good luck with it !

If children are involved you might like to think about things like CRB checks too?

Think i will stay clear of children, NFU were very helpfull, they said they have some customers for me out of the office when im up and running, they put me in touch with other companys but to no success.

It might be worth giving someone at the Muckleburgh Collection a ring, as they offer paid rides and imagine they must have some PLI in place for it.
