Exporting a 25Pdr breech to Canada

Recommended Posts

I have been asked about the possible problems of exporting a deactivated breech for a 25pdr to Canada. What should the buyer or shipper have to do to expedite this? Any thoughts please?

Thanks

Tim

When I've sent anything like that overseas, I've quoted it as a machine part, which is essentially what it is. Ron

I'd be highly inclined to use an agent who has experience in such things. UK deactivation may well not be the same as Canadian deactivation.

Should be very little problem in shipping to Canada as long as the buyer/receiver has a possession and acquisition license. Simply classified by Canada Customs as a single shot rifle, have imported more than one tank cannon the same way and working on another from the UK now.

Thanks everyone. Some good ideas there.
