Local news is talking about racecourse being built on at least in part. If this is correct are we on our bikes?

I noticed a delay in this years forms coming out.

I don't anything concrete has happened yet, not even an actual planning application submitted yet.

There was some 'talk' of moving the show back to to Hop Farm, but that might have just been wishful thinking, also given the issues around the "Military World show" and probably not coming back, who knows?

What I heard is that the buildings on the site (grandstand, stables etc.) might be taken down soon and that work will start on laying infrastructure like roads, sewers, cables etc. but that nothing will be build anytime soon, which means the field itself probably will largely be available for at least the 2017 show.

Great news, but I really hope that doesn't include back to the 'old' toilet arrangements as well... :-D
