IanOver
Hi could anyone help with some info. I'm starting to rebuild a 3HW that was striped but somewhere down the line most of the fixings have been lost. Could anyone tell me the size and length of the two bolts that hold the front frame section to the rear frame section Ian
Ron
I can measure mine tomorrow if no one gets there first. But basically you have two studs with two nuts and washers each. Make the studs long enough to accommodate the two nuts and washers with maybe 2-3 threads over at each end. You can see pictures of mine in the other thread by GLR99. bigduke6
On the subject of bolts, anyone know the best place for them ?
Ron
I buy a lot of my BSCycle thread nuts and bolts off Nooky. Nicely made in UK and zinc plated. (I often get some of them re-plated with cadmium). Nooky charges £1 a bag at jumbles and £1.40 on line to include P&P. http://www.nookysnuts.com/ Ron

Ron
Not quite so. My everyday WM20 and WD/CO have mostly stainless fixings. Before I found a source for cad plating and mat chrome (please don't ask for details) I was fed up with zinc plated fixings not standing the rigours of winter and bad weather. I bead blast them for a cad plate look. I built my Indian Special (WW2 military parts) with entirely polished stainless fixings......Cost a bloody fortune!!
