Just bought this in Norway

Bought last week in norway some days work not sure what to yet restore or parts. It more or less complete but al wood gone one big heap of body remaibs incl al hinges brackets etc.

i think you quite right if it is going to be restored will take 4 year or so

OK. I admire the commitment, but what was it? :-D

It was a humber heavy utility one of 120 made for cold weather conditions. What it means is unclear but clearly not good enough to last the norway winters :-(

Oh nice. If it was in Norway, very close to the USSR, it may have a very interesting history. A number of those vehicles post war were used for radio interceptors.

I notice it appears to have US Military Junior oil filter on the engine. Might have been used by the Norwegian army, they had a lot of British kit after the war. If like the Danes, they improvised for parts, as my QL had a similar filter fitted when in Danish army service.

Yes you do need some paper work to be sure. With this one we didn't. I understand from people in Norway not many do arrange papers. No papers could mean trouble, so best if you spend money to get papers

notice the ki-gas priming pump on the dash. Probably part of the cold weather outfit only 120 made

didn't pay much and if engine is oke it was a very good buy, we will see soon.

Duct tape, wd40, some new types a light lick of paint and you'll be well away:-D

Any pre-1950s car needs an export licence.
