But here is a firm in Australia (I think) with some. http://www.bmhstore.bmh.com.au/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=7 Ron

Chris Hall
They still come up occasionally, I picked up 10 NOS lamps about 5 years ago, 3 went to South Africa, 3 I used myself and 4 went on eBay, the last only about 6 months ago. I'll keep my eyes open.
Ron
There's this cheapo! Listed as 'Miller' http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MILLER-TYPE-REAR-TAIL-LIGHT-WITH-FIXING-BRACKET-FOR-VINTAGE-BIKES-PUMMY-/371521383216?hash=item5680666b30:g:zMUAAOSwwPhWhRwj Ron
ManfredSt
I will temporarily mount a MT110 (also for our MOT). But I am continue to looking for a MCT1 WD Regards Manfred
Ron
Well my previous post linked you to a repro you were asking for. Only £14 with free post. Ron
ManfredSt
First I must by motorbike to MOT. He wants a "E4" on the lens, and a window for the number plate lighting.
79x100
No British motorcycle lens made prior to 1973 other than perhaps specifically intended for the European market would have an 'E' mark. We fought two world wars in what proved ultimately to be a vain attempt at avoiding that sort of nonsense. If you're in a country that applies retrospective legislation then it would seem that you'll have to fit something made by Hella.
ManfredSt
yes, so it is with us in Germany. With an oldtimer do I have to only once during commissioning to MOT. What comes after that is another matter.
79x100
If you have panniers then a straightforward answer is to fit a removable board across the back between them ( a bit like a motorcycle version of a trailer board) with a modern lamp and reflector plus your number plate and it can then easily be unplugged and removed for displays. Ron
Out of interest I just bought a cheap repro MT 110 tail lamp and I noticed that they now have an E4 stamp on the lens. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/371515430371 Ron
demon
Are the bulbs replaceable or is it a case of change the whole light assembly?
Ron
These repro lamps have the benefit of an ordinary 12v stop/tail lamp bulb. Easily changed for a 6v. Ron
welbike
I still have a bunch of original Lucas taillamps, guess I should have stored them inside!! Anyway, I sold one recently, and the guy made something nice of it, see here: Price is 30 euro's, + postage at cost. PM, or email me. bigduke6
These repro lamps have the benefit of an ordinary 12v stop/tail lamp bulb. Easily changed for a 6v. Ron Ron, they are cheaper from, feked.com I bought one (along with other bits) the intention to make the bracket etc, but I'll certainly buy one of the ones Alex has (if he has any left and PM on the way)
Ron
You'll never make an MCT1 fag end lamp out of an MT110. It's far to big. Here again is a link to the cheap repros, if they still have them? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/371521383216?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I don't know why they call it 'Miller'? matchlesswdg3
It is worth noting that a genuine WD tail light is NOT legal in UK as it does not light the number plate or have a stop light. Yes, your bike does not have to pass an MoT, but be aware that riding a motorcycle on the road in an illegal condition could render any insurance claim invalid. You could also collect a fat fine and more unfortunately, a faster vehicle up your rear end!! So, fine for display purposes, otherwise beware! bigduke6
This is the one I bought to make something as close as original, with the intention of fitting another rear light which I can fit and remove when required. http://www.feked.com/rear-lamp-tail-light-lucas-type-mt211.html
Ron
OK I see. The 211 is certainly slimmer than a 110. But why not simply buy a repro fag end as well. On one of my Velo’s I didn’t want to interrupt the original look of the mudguard with its fairly unique ‘MILLER’ fag end. So I fitted the number plate and brake light behind the O/S panier bag. You'll have to forgive Ferg! He's from Scotland. I don't know what happens up there? But down here in the south, we try to break at least one rule a day!!
