martylee
There are several small museums in Norway. One of them "Eidsvoll bygdetun/ the occupation museum" is located Eidsvoll which also is the birthplace of the Norwegian constitution. Small, but a Nice museum that tell you about the invasion and life during the war, also from a local perspective. Marty
martylee
I have to add a few more photos of traditional Norwegian wooden buildings from the same museum. These building is what the german army met in the Districts at the time of the invasion. These were very common thru the Østerdal and Gudbrandsdal where they passed in their Chase of the Norwegian and British troops in early april 1940. These building were built during the 1800s.
