Dry fire

Hi,

 

It means you can cock the weapon and when you pull the trigger it will click, most weapons deactivated after 1995 will not work at all.

I have a post 95 Stirling that as been completley butchered so the slide just moves back and forth.

 

Brens are different post 95 still dry fire because of the nature of operation.

To tie this topic up, with another on forum, at present,..............this is ONE VERY GOOD reason to guard your de-act certs,................if you 'misplace', it and need to get another, by re-submitting your weapon, (:schocked: Ooer missis.......) you COULD well end up with it being non dry fire.

The dry fire type, are commonly known as 'early type' deacts,..........the type, as per Chris's stirling, 'late type'.
