Pete Posted March 18, 2014 Author Share Posted March 18, 2014 Just a quick update, for anyone who is thinking of putting a new vial in their front blade. The original vial is painted into place, and is only recessed into the blade by 1-2mm, so comes out quite simply with a scalpel. The nearest sized vial that I could get to the original was a 6x2mm. You'll need to file out the slot in the blade before drilling the 2mm hole that is required to seat the vial (Approx' 3mm deep.). Then paint into position (If you've got a steady hand, you should be able to make the visible part of the vial look the same size as the original. Think I'll leave that part to the Mrs. :-D ).
