BRDM Driver Posted April 14, 2013 Share Posted April 14, 2013 I'm pretty sure it's impossible to get the carry handle ring off a de-act Bren as the barrel is welded in. Mine has a crack either side where the handle lug meets the ring that goes around the barrel. I can get it to slide up and down some of the barrel, so I guess I could close it up in a vice and get a bit of weld on the crack and then dress it back clean. Any other ideas?
