TANK OF THE WEEK: Leyland Armoured Car.

First built in 1934 and based on a 6x4 Leyland Terrier Chassis and armour salvaged from Peerless cars. It saw service in the Irish Army, 1st Armoured Sqn, 5th Motor Sqn, 11th Cavalry Sqn and Republic of Ireland...

Leyland still in use in 1980's with Reserve Unit. Retrofitted with Cannon taken from Vampire Jets after they were decomissioned.

the photo you used presents represents the Landsverk L180, which has broad wheel hubs.
