Can anyone help me track the owner of the Stalwart in the picture?

Recommended Posts

Hi

I am trying to find out where and when this picture was taken. I'm actually trying to track down the owner of the small armoured car to the left... so any leads would be appreciated!

The reg of the Stalwart is; q31 gjt

Heres a second picture taken a few years later...

I have a feeling the show is a large steam fair - perhaps in the south??

Thanks

Baz

Great Dorset Steam Fair & I would say more than 10-15 years ago.

It is definitely Great Dorset Steam Fair, so it might be worth contacting David Fletcher at the Tank Museum, regarding identifying the owner of the Panhard. I recall David used to run the Military section at one time.

Thanks for your help. It was the Dorset show. The armoured car is Bovingtons - from when it used to drive(!) I have pictures from inside the vehicle if anyone's interested...

Mystery solved..

Thanks everyone.

Hi there,

What was your question or purpose for finding out?

I know the person who brought some Panhards into the UK from the French Army with an AMX-13.

I can put you in touch if helps?

Kind regards,

Brandon
