I hope this is to everyone’s liking, and thank you to those who have contributed information to help get us going. Tony/Graham I hope you have no objections but as you can see I have included your Pickfords Diamond T’s.

To get on the register if the Diamond T owners post details and a picture in this thread I will reference the post number in the first column. It should not take long to build up a reasonable population. The information contained in the table should be enough for us to get going. I have initially included some of the vehicles which Dizzy-t and I are aware of. The first column will change as information is posted in the thread.

The register is a picture file which can be easily updated. It was, after several attempts, the most effective way to present this many columns in a neat way. If any errors are spotted feel free to shout!

More to go on soon.

Moderators – can we please make this a sticky? :-)

Cheers,

Ad.

Thanks to all who have contributed to our Register, I have had info from the Historic Commercial Vehicle Club of Australia, from a chap calling himself Tatra he has sent me the following websites to look at,

http://www.hankstruckpictures/moshe_arzooan.htm

http://webshots.com/aslbum/509779906PcLJGy?start=0.

Facebook name Roni Sharon.

Youtube. Transport Ability Part 1 & 2, there is no need to view all of the second film, as the Diamondt T's are only on few a few minutes of the second film. I hope you enjoy all the info,I cant remember which one it was, but there are about 90 odd Diamond T photos on it, all very interesting and possibly usefull for any one renovating one. Enjoy

icon1.png Diamond T help required for a Veteran!!!

The father of a friend of my other half was a driver of a Diamond T Tank Transporter in the Army. It's his 80th birthday in April and what she really wants for his birthday present is for him to either get a trip in or drive a Diamond T again.

Apparently he is a collector of classic cars, so he similar to us in his interest for historical vehicles. The gentleman lives in Guildford and she is willing to travel to where the Diamond T is based. I'm sure she would be willing to pay for the fuel!

Are there any Diamond T owners that would be willing to give this Veteran a drive or trip in their Diamond T for his 80th birthday in April? If you think you can help, please PM me and I can pass your details onto the Daughter of the Veteran for her to contact you.

Thanks in advance for any help offered.

Andy

Hello Loggydriver, I know of 3 Diamond Ts in Wiltshire which is a bit closer to Guildford, all 3 are runners and there is a choice of trailers, Rogers & 1 Dyson. I of the Ts (open cab) & Dyson trailer could be up for sale. Contact me if this of interest and I will speak to the owners.
