Nice to have some where to talk to other like minded people :D

 

I have never understood why they made the Harleys with such little ground clearence. They must of been a nightmare to ride in Europe during the war, I can see that they would be fine in the US where they have straight roads and not many bends.

 

How do people get on with them?

I have no experience of Harleys...

but I've often wondered what it would have been like to ride a rigid girder M21... in full battledress... dr coat and all the kit..lee enfield over the shoulder etc etc... they're hard work at the best of times...(mine can be anyway) but all the above... and also the chance of being shot at!!!

i own a 1942 wlc and get on with it fine, you just have to remember its not a racing bike.
