  1. Just had a look on e-bay and thats ridiclous! It's not as though there there's not enough. There's one with 15 bids and its up to £72 !!!????? Whats going on?

  3. Looks like the contents was filled in April 1964 and was lot No.25 Just google 25lb practice bomb and you can see what went in it. Sorry, but not worth a great value, £15-£20 as a prop or just a well built wooden box. C.
  4. Unfortunately it's people like this that ruin it for everyone else :mad: and I would say name and shame him, but looking at his complete disregard for the safety of other road users, his vehicle occupants and also the state of the vehicle I doubt he'd even care!!!

  9. Does anyone know the colour codes for the vehicle record cards? I believe the first number is the colour and the second the pattern........ but I expect to be proven wrong! C.
  10. It was Richard and thats where i bought it from. It was put in a corner of the yard and is untouched since demob.

  13. Waiting for it Chris. The back boxes are also welded on so the hinge is at the side rather than the bottom and one them has a cable coming from the intercom system running into it? C.
  14. Its 16" high and 10" wide and the clips on the top are about 1&1/2" diameter. There is also another padded holder underneath the seat where the fan batterys should be for something about 12 inches wide.
  15. Thanks Bob, It doesn't seem big enough for a 84mm. Will post dimensions later today. Also the two 'bottom pockets' are padded. C.
  16. Ok, there are a lot of odd brackets and slight things different with this one that i haven't seen before. Can anyone shed any light on the following to begin with; On the rear engine bulkhead normally where there is a slim box, what clips in here? (sorry, photo on its side) No vision block in the rear door??
  17. Well Mondays delivery turned up today! Its way too good to break so will probably be restored first as its a non-runner. The reg is 06EA99 if anyone happens to fall over an in service pic. Also after an offside wheel station if anyone has one kicking about.

  21. I can crack on with the restoration now She runs fine for the first 5 mins Bill and then hardly any drive at all. All oils checked and double checked. All i can think of now is the torque converter is on its way out but why would she run for the first 5 mins? Managed to find a spare engine errrrrrr, sort of, it's sort of attached to another vehicle....... I wonder what the misses is going to say when it turns up? I've always worked on don't ask permission, just appologise after
  22. Where does it say you need an export licence for deacts? All i can find is exemptions for "Firearms certified by a registered UK Proof House as having been rendered incapable of firing any ammunition" How many people have just been to Normandy with a deac? Surely thay must know!
