    Ahhh i remember that. I posted some pictures of that in the Martian thread. Very capable vehicle and a fine truck indeed.

    I have footage of one at the off roading events at Bovington in the late 80's. Awesome looking beast. My parents was filming at the time. Also pictures of one in the AWDC magazine taken at one of the events.

    My mother and brother was in the back of the Pierce Arrow for the presentation award. The guy that had it down at the show was called Ben Mitchell and was camped with us over at Twickenham Off Roaders. We were all pleased he won the awards. I actually tipped him to win best in show a month before the show started.

    We went to Groombridge and caught up with the convoy in Tunbridge Wells. We mised the convoy leaving as we were at 6's n 7's in the morning. Our tent collapsed a bit aswell. We came back on the train earlier and we are heading back down on Tuesday evening. Had a good weekend in my view.

    We will be taking the 101 down tomorrow some time in the afternoon.

    There are some nice peices of kit down at Shoreham Cement works. I used to go off roading down there. Nice truck you got there.

    We should taking the 101 round the off road course at least once. Is anyone else off here going to have a go at it.

    Didn't go down this weekend in the end as we didn't feel like it. Were just gonna head down next Saturday.

    A few of those Series One's were something to do with a electric company if i remember correctly. One of the amphibious looking Land Rover's was a prototype for the Australian army i think.

    Driving down this Saturday in convoy with another 101. I hope it doesn't rain.

    Goin to the Twickenham Off Roaders pub meet on Wednesday night to to find out what will be going on in the americas field with the marshalling and gate watching n stuff.

    What time is the convoy planning on leaving?.Quite convieniant really as my fathers grave is at the church in Groombridge.

    My mother has sent off for booking forms so should be going to this.

    We shall be with the Twickenham Off Roaders again in the Americas field down by the off road course. We have also sent off a booking form for the Groombridge show.
