  1. I think it is still there. Got loads more pics of it. I think you can just see a glimpse of it through the hedge on google streetview. It would have been sitting there for around 6 or 7 years now. Proberbly still has the Stalwart wheels and tyres on it.
  2. Had a look through the fence on Tuesday while holidaying in the area. Most of the those vehicles are still there.
  3. I spotted a Constructor in the background of a repeat episode of Fifth Gear a while ago on an airfield somewhere. Will look out for it.

  5. I was marshalling and marking the score card for the Beliet during the trial. The organistion was pretty poor and most of the marshals wern't briefed on where the actual sections were.

  7. Ah im pretty sure that was the american wrecker we passed by on the hard shoulder. Wow didn't expect this many people there already. Freind with a 101 came down sometime yesterday . Nice to see the Fordson there again this year.
  8. Went with mum in the 101 round the M25 to Gravesend and back earlier and saw a couple of Vietnam era trucks on the hard shoulder not far before Clacket Lane services. Also saw a jeep being towed by a car. Should be in the americas field next Sunday or next monday. Can't wait.

  10. I was there as an 11 year old at the last gathering in 2001. My dad had his Stalwart there that weekend. It was proberbly thanks to you guys doing that off roading back then that got him into the mv hobby.
  11. I was there as a baby my mum and dad were spectatating and filming also. Been trying to sort out the video camera so we can can put our footage up.

  13. The red Stalwart that once went round the Isle of Wight is now in Canada and has been so since 99. Not USA but near enough.

  15. I saw that Explorer at Avon Dassett again in 2006. Got plenty of footage on old video thanks to my Parents.

  18. Yes people need to learn to use the toilet properly. Toilets cleaned every couple of hours or so would be an idea though. It would make it a hell of a lot more expensive for the organisers though.
  19. I walked into the main toilets on the Saturday night and there was poo all over the seat and on the floor.
  20. Twickenham Off Roaders (club i belong to) had one of the Thames ambulances down at Beltring this year. The first time there under it's own power. It's garadually been restored over the last 10 years. That's all i know really.
  21. Just need to put fuel in the 101 really and all will be ready for tomorrow.
